Scouts, it's time to give an hour for earth

This March, SCOUTS South Africa is proud to be partnering once again with WWF South Africa for Earth Hour, the world’s largest grassroots environmental campaign. Earth Hour may have started as a “switch-off”, but in South Africa we do it differently, and as Scouts we make sure to live up to our Scout Promise and Law and give an hour doing something we love for our planet.

There are many things you can do! Here are some ideas:

Explore a new place.
Clean up litter in your community.
Go on an outdoor adventure with your Patrol.
Run a “be Water Safe” programme as part of our National Challenge.
Simply spend an hour outdoors appreciating nature.
