A Galactic Welcome to Field Day 2026!

We’re beyond excited to have you join us for Field Day “Intergalactic” 2026, taking place from 14–16 August at the Ditsong Willem Prinsloo Agricultural Museum. Get ready for a weekend where Scouts from across Gauteng will gather to camp, compete, and celebrate the spirit of Scouting under the stars!

Imagine three days filled with teamwork, creativity, and adventure, from building pioneering projects to testing your cooking skills, mastering first aid, and showing off your Scoutcraft. With competitions ranging from Camping and Staving (both compulsory for the overall trophy) to Orienteering, Sports, and Troop HQ, there’s something for every Scout to shine.

This year’s theme, Intergalactic, invites you to aim high, explore boldly, and let your imagination take flight. Whether you’re running an activity for Cubs and Meerkats in the Akela Challenge, constructing gateways and gadgets in your campsite, or lighting the way with the Beacon Tower in Jolomk’u, you’ll be part of an unforgettable journey.

Do your best, work as a team, and embrace the adventure. Every competition adds points toward the coveted Field Day Trophy, but more importantly, every moment adds memories that will last a lifetime.
