World Scout Scarf Day is around the corner! On the 1st of August, Scouts around the world will proudly wear their Scout scarves to celebrate World Scout Scarf Day and to honour the values, friendships and adventures that unite more than 60 million Scouts worldwide.

Whether you’re heading to work, school, university, the shops or meeting friends, wear your Scout scarf proudly and let your community see Scouting in action.

This year, we’re also inviting members to Paint Parkrun Purple! 💜 Join your local parkrun wearing your SCOUTS South Africa purple T-shirt (or any purple gear) and your Scout scarf. It’s a fun way to celebrate World Scout Scarf Day, promote healthy living and show that Scouts are active members within our communities.

Remember that every Scout scarf tells a story of skills development, service, leadership, adventure and making the world a better place. You never know who might ask about your scarf. That conversation could inspire someone to begin their own Scouting journey!
