Are you a photography enthusiast or professional photographer or videographer within the Gauteng Scout Region? We could really use your help!
From the 12th to the 15th of March SCOUTS SA is hosting the 16th Africa Scout Day at Arrowe Park in Johannesburg on behalf of World Scouting’s Africa Region. The event will be full of adventure, learning and cameraderie and we are looking for a team of volunteer videographers, video editors and photographers to help us capture the moments.
The content we create would be used by World Scouting and SCOUTS South Africa to promote the Scout Movement locally and globally. We might also share some with various media for publication on their platforms. You will be credited for your work where possible and get the opportunity to be part of an international communication team.
We will make sure that you are briefed before the event. We would meet virtually with the Africa Regional Comms team on what is needed (content calendar) and where the content is loaded, etc. So, you will know what is expected before the event starts.
Can you help us capture the fun Scouting spirit, and volunteer your expertise and time?
- Please email [email protected] and let us know before 15 February 2026.
- Please share a link to some of your work too if possible.
- Just note that to join the team you would need your own photo/video equipment and laptop – if needed.
- If you have any queries please feel free to drop us a mail or WhatsApp the National Office at 068 069 9463.
We look forward to hearing from you and creating content that can show just how amazing Scouting in SA is!
