The Patrol Leader Training Course is designed to provide intermediate Patrol Leader training to PLs and APLs and is an optional requirement for First Class in the Scout Programme.

PLTC should ideally be attended by PLs and APLs who are about to or have just embarked on their First Class. The course focuses on leadership opportunities and experiences, as well as camp, hike and project planning, among other skills and theory.
