We will be running an in-person Dialogue for Peace training here in Gauteng and are opening up applications. The training will run from 19-21 March 2022 at Gilwell, from 8AM on the Saturday to 3PM on the Monday. Participants will be catered for, but must provide their own tents and sleeping equipment (individual tents are required due to Covid regulations). The training will cost R150 per person. We are able to sponsor a limited number of participants who genuinely cannot afford the training (please see the additional questions in the application form). Please do not let cost be a barrier to applying.

Please note applications for the training close on the 12 February. We will confirm selection by 19 February.

Participants must attend all sessions to complete the training successfully. It is open to participants over 18.

Dialogue for Peace is an exciting programme developed in partnership with KAICIID. We learn to find similarities unnoticed before, and even come to respect and sometimes appreciate differences. Through dialogue, we come together as human beings first to find inclusive solutions to the challenges we face today. The Dialogue for Peace programme invites Scouts to discover how they can incorporate dialogue into their everyday lives. This training will upskill in Dialogue skills and help you train others in these skills, as well as incorporate them in your life and scout activities.
