Covid may have scuttled the last 2 years but Skydive Camp is BACK!

Camp is limited to 8 campers so hurry up and register!

Skydive Camp 2018 & 2019 were a roaring success with a new group of Scouts proudly wearing their wings!

Skydive Camp 2022

Date              : 18h00 15 July – 17 July 2022
Venue            : Leeukop airfield, Deneysville (Vaal Dam)
Cost               : R5 550.00 (R750 deposit)
Eligibility       : Any Scout 16year or older, Rover and Scouter
Closing Date  : 15 June 2022 (Final payment 05 July)

What is Skydive Camp 2022:

ꔷ The Skydive Camp fee is R5 550.00 per person with a non-refundable R750 deposit
ꔷ The Skydive Camper must be a Scout 16+ years of age, an adult member, Rover, or Scouter
ꔷ The Skydive Camper must be reasonably fit and below 100kg in weight
ꔷ Each Skydive Camper is responsible for their own transport to and from the Skydive on the Vaal & Leeukop airfield.
ꔷ Arrival is no later than 18:00 on the Friday evening – we start at first training session at 19:00

The Sky diving will be facilitated and run by “Skydive on the Vaal” and their fee includes :
ꔷ P.A.S.A. Accredited Skydive Ground School training by Skydive on the Vaal
ꔷ Skydive logbook with 12 months P.A.S.A. membership or till level A is achieved.
ꔷ 5x Static-line skydive jumps at 3500ft by Skydive on the Vaal
ꔷ Aircraft slots and jump master(s) by Skydive on the Vaal
ꔷ Parachute packing and gear hire by Skydive on the Vaal

ꔷ Safe Skydiving is weather dependant; as such, in the event of adverse or unsafe skydiving weather being predicted, the Skydive arrangements and thereby Camp dates may need to postponed at short notice.

Applicants will be notified by email and the balance of documentation sent at that time.

Please distribute the attached flyers and advertise the camp to all Scouts, Rovers & Scouters.
